Class Funds

There are actually $27 of funds with me.

Anyone who wants a refund or prefers if we keep the fund to buy materials for gifts to teacher (eg teacher’s day?)

for those who managed to get into their course they wished to, a big congrats! ((:

i believe this year’s COP for some JCs had went lower, and i’ve also heard that some of you may be going to appeal too.

Sunday Meetup to Chalet

If you don’t know how to go to Aloha Loyang (Our Chalet)
Where to meet first?
Start from Khatib
(For Benefit of people living is Sembawang, etc)

When: 12.45pm (DON’T BE LATE), 4th Jan 2009
PLEASE DO NOT BE LATE, We’ll miss the Shuttle Bus ride & have to take the 1515 ride

Late Comers – GO THERE YOURSELF

Where: Khatib MRT Platform (First Cabin of Marina Bay’s Train)
How: Take MRT to Pasir Ris MRT (estimate an hour ride)
& Take Time: 1415 Shuttle Bus

Please have your lunch before you meet up!
If you know how to go, we’ll meet at Aloha Loyang at 2.40pm

If you are joining halfway, then please call anybody you think reliable.
FYI, I (Sinren) Is a Major Navigation Loser.

Things to Bring & Chalet Schedule

THINGS TO BRING

A little guide about what to bring during the Chalet!
May sounds like camping trip.. HAHA!
This is for those who are staying overnight for both nights!

  1. Sufficient Clothing (At least 3 Shirts & MUST:”Costume”)
  2. Under wears (YOU SHOULD KNOW)
  3. Jacket *Optional
  4. Slippers (you’ll be wearing it right?)
  5. Sleeping Bag *optional (you can fight for the bed or sleep on the floor”)
  6. Towel (advice you to bring hanger too)
  7. Toiletries (Toothpaste, Toothbrush, Shampoo, Bodywash etc)
  8. Personal Medication (*If Any)
  9. Torch Light *optional
  10. Snacks (*  if you think we wouldn’t have enough)
  11. Bring some money to buy food in case you are not full)
  12. CHARGER (your handphone)
    Please take care of your own valuables!

Chalet Schedule

Bath time is not included, bath at any time as you wish, so long as the toilets are vacant.

Day 1

Please have your lunch before you come
Reminder to those who are going escape, you have to get a locker for your belongings if you are going early for escape (10am).

  • 3pm Check In
  • 3.30pm Mass Game (for those who are not going to escape)
  • 5pm Free Time
  • 7pm Dinner (Self-provide, will try to order some food – if we have extra $ – most likely)
  • Monday Night will be free night (mah jong all you want etc)
    Try to stay awake

Day 2

  • Morning – FREE TIME (I know different people wake up at different times)
  • 12pm – Go Beaching? (We will CAMWHORE)
  • 2pm – LUNCH (Self-provide, will try to order fast food delivery)
  • Fun noon (DJ-ing with MUSIC, play musical chair)
  • Costume Party
  • 5pm – Prepare BBQ
    6.30pm – Teachers will come
  • Night Time ( PARTEH again) / we will put costume party after BBQ or before? We decide on that day.
  • Try to stay awake?

Day 3

  • 10am Check Out
  • Depending on whether if we are tire out or not, we may still have other activities on this day!

Where’s Our Chalet, How To Get There?

Pool Terraces 10

Check in time: 3pm
Mr Lee must go personally or, with his IC and a person 18 and above, to check in :)

There are eight chalets at our Pool Terraces. These double-storey terraces, situated near common facilities, are fully furnished with

  • a living room set, TV and games tables;
  • dining room; 4 air-conditioned bedrooms furnished with beds, wardrobes, dressers, bedside tables and wall fans;
  • 5 toilets/bathrooms with shower heater;
  • BBQ pit and a fully equipped kitchen.

Pool Terrace 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12
4 bedrooms, 2 queen beds and 4 single beds, 4 attached bathroom cum toilet, 1 common toilet & bathroom

NB. 2 of the 4 bedrooms are located at the 2nd floor.

The suitable group size for day use is 40 persons only. 8 persons only for night use.

HOW TO GET THERE?

By Car

If you’re coming from the north…
take SLE/TPE, exit to Pasir Ris Drive 12 which turns right into Pasir Ris Drive 3. Go along Pasir Ris Drive 3 until you pass Aranda Country Club on your left. At the immediate junction, turn left into Pasir Ris Close.

Go along this road and turn into Jalan Loyang Besar. Take this small lane until you see the road sign directing you to aloha loyang (a left-turn, after which you should take the road winding right).

On your left, you would pass by Costa Sands and a public carpark. Go straight ahead and you’ll arrive at aloha loyang.
If you’re coming from the west…
take TPE/SLE, exit to Loyang Avenue (towards Pasir Ris Town). Travel along Loyang Avenue and turn left into Pasir Ris Drive 3. You’ll come to a cross-junction where you’ll see NTUC Downtown East. Turn right into Pasir Ris Close. **

Go along this road and turn into Jalan Loyang Besar. Take this small lane until you see the road sign directing you to aloha loyang (a left-turn, after which you should take the road winding right).

On your left, you would pass by Costa Sands and a public carpark. Go straight ahead and you’ll arrive at aloha loyang.

By Train & Bus

Take the east bound train to Pasir Ris MRT station.

We have a Shuttle bus service commuting to & from Pasir Ris MRT station.
